The Chrysalis is already set in place hanging from a cinnamay box. For the chrysalis to hatch safely, keep it away from direct sunlight and mist it with water once or twice a day. Don't mist it if the droplets of water are still present on the chrysalis and when the chrysalis begins to darken.
When the chrysalis turns very dark and the pattern of the wings is apparent, the butterfly will hatch within a day or so.
We recommend you keep the butterfly in the box no more than 2 days to allow the wings to dry and strengthen and then open your box on a warm day, make a wish and set your butterfly free.
